This is the boring part. Sitting on board waiting to get where you're going. I'm terribly bored, and the Rune DX is a close ship, relatively speaking. It should only take about 3 days to get there at our current speed.
The Carrionstar is mostly engine and bridge. There are two other, small non descript rooms, but that's it for excitement.
There's the RealGen to play with, but as pilot, I can only be out of contact for an hour at a time. That, and I've almost played out the RealGen as far as that goes. I'm king of the universe in several campaigns already. Ordering people around gets boring. So does restarting the campaigns.
There are some worlds I haven't tried, yet. They are either scaryhard, or childish.
Then, I'm supposed to be working on my engineering and ship study. Ship study, of course, is mostly the history of wars. Finding out where some small battle occurred and analyzing flight patterns so that I will be able to scout myself for wrecks.
Most transmissions, though, are alien code and Navplots of dubious origin, or simply code tags that are not real messages, but have messages buried in them. The codes, though, are quantum codes, and, even with massive computer databases they tend to stay uncracked.
My master is a genius at these things.
I am not.
Time to check to see if I've picked up a pursuer.
I hope I do, sometimes, it would break the monotony.
Peace
