Day3

It was a blast.

It is one thing to simulate a trip, and quite another to pilot a starship.

Same controls, same computer, same same same.

Totally different when the engines respond, and the ship moves because of your commands.

Especially when the crosswarp kicks in. Watching the ship phase into ultra matter space is quite something.

I mean, so little actually happens. You don't feel anything, you hardly hear anything. Yet, there go the navplots, and we're off. Nearly 10,000 lyph. Dancing around what's left of the universe.

I am excited, exhausted (haven't slept since I started navplotting), and happy as I've ever been.

Good luck, and Peace friends.
